Greg created his Fencebook, a real-life play on a Facebook profile, in response to a stone quarry that set up on three sides of his property.  It is part of a larger series of protests, which includes a sheet metal "hate fence" adorned with barbed wire, a sign that reads "I hate you" on a bordering window, and a cacophony of noise including driving his lawn mower down the street sans-muffler until he is run off the road by angry neighbors in their cars.

This small town drama was an interesting and subtle enigma in a quiet town with about four hundred residents, and Greg managed to go after not only his neighbor but local government as well.  Locals insist both Greg and John (the stone mason) are great people, it is simply a collision of two opposing forces.
