Dear Friends and Family,
I recently moved to a small town in the Eastern Plains of Colorado about an hour from Boulder where I just completed my first year in an MFA program. The population in Byers is only 1,100 and I live and mainly work by myself.
I've found a wonderful, therapeutic and magical place where I take Rufus every morning for me to enjoy my first (second and third) cup(s) of coffee and write and for her to run and swim. It is one of my favorite places in the world and I feel so fortunate to live just a quick 20 minute walk away.
That being said, I'd love to share this place with you (virtually) and have our morning coffee together via video chat. I am writing to you because you are currently or at one point were an important part of my life. We are all busy and the world moves too fast sometimes and as a result, relationships are lost or muted.
So I'd like to invite you to slow down with me. Enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea) and catch up. However long it has been or wherever you are living in the world. All you need is a way to video chat and a mug!
If you'd like to have coffee with me, I'm usually at the creek by 8 am MST.
