For the first weekend at the Field School a couple of us stayed in Buyers, Co. During the day I caught up with some readings and went to the Laundromat to do some laundry. Then, right before sunset I headed out and decided to walk down the train trucks towards a bridge that I had seen the day before. I grabbed my equipment and headed out. The light was just perfect.
This afternoon I wanted to take my time, i didn't want to rush. The idea wasn't really to take sunset pictures, I really wanted to take some night, long exposure shots of the the bridge. Sometimes you have an idea in your head but then something better happens... also, sometimes the in between moments are more significant.
By the end of the night, I was able to take some long exposure shots of the bridge, but I was also very happy having been able to take this sunset photo.
