Out in a field in Byers, Co painting a pile of wood and other discarded items. I remember these from around Oklahoma where I grew up. We were always warned as kids to stay away from them as they had many rusty nails and were a great habitat for snakes and other biting creatures. So even today, this is about as close as I will get to one. However, their wonderful organic nature, created incidentally from mostly processed wood and other rectangular shapes heaped together generates an endlessly interesting form.
