Cano and his castle showed a blending of art and architecture that tied in well to Ron's lecture.  While I am not sue if Cano would describe himself as an artist, the sheer time and energy, and the overall creative vision that he gave to this project makes it difficult to not see it as a work of art.  It also drove home the significance of Cano's history and how it has been intertwined with the history of the valley.
Seeing how Ron incorporated the two into his projects, and the overall presentation and advice he offered was very compelling, and the inclusion of Enchiladas made it the best lecture I have been at in a long time.
